BLACK BARTLEMY'S TREASURE
Enraged by his five years of slavery on a Spanish galleon, Martine Conisby, a.k.a. Lord Wendover, escapes during a sea fight. He is rescued by an English ship and is determined to avenge this wrong. He returns to England disguised as a tramp just in time to save the beautiful Lady Jane Brandon. He is unaware the beautiful lady is the daughter of the man he has sworn to punish.
